This short article aims to discuss the Ankle Brachial
Pressure Index (ABPI) in clinical practice and attempt to partially delineate some areas of confusion. It will discuss ABPI measurement and interpretation in relation to arterial perfusion, venous insufficiency and subsequent decision making.
