Leg ulcers: the ‘elephant in the room’

Joy Tickle, Leanne Atkin
12 March 2019

This article is based on a Made Easy workshop held at the Wounds UK annual conference in Harrogate, UK, on 6th November 2018, sponsored by Mölnlycke. The
aim of the workshop was to open discussion around lower extremity wounds and emphasise the importance of timely holistic assessment followed by compression therapy as standard of care. A lively Q&A session functioned as a springboard to debate various aspects of wound care, including priorities in leg ulcer (LU) management, when and how to use compression therapy and dressing choice in various scenarios. Case studies using Mölnlycke dressings were presented.
