It has been announced that Frontier Medical Group has been selected to be a preferred supplier to Barchester Healthcare for its Repose® Foot Protector products.
Repose® Foot Protector and Foot Protector Plus will become the heel off-loading product of choice across all Barchester Care Homes, one the largest independent care providers in the UK, as part of Barchester’s Standard of Care for pressure ulcer prevention.
The decision to standardise on Repose® products was made following an evaluation of various foot protection products in Barchester Care Homes during 2017. The results of the evaluation, led by Julia Atherton (Director of Nursing, Barchester Healthcare) and Ross Joannides (Tissue Viability Nurse Specialist) will be published in 2018.
