Use of SILVERCEL® NONADHERENT on burn wounds: A case seriesBurn wound infections are one of the most important and potentially serious complications that occur in the acute period following injury. The risks are commensurate with the depth and extent of the burn, the health and age of the patient, local perfusion of the tissues, and use of systemic antibiotics. Therefore, topical antimicrobial treatment is usually preferred for burn wounds and this article looks at the use of Silvercel® Non-Adherent (Systagenix) dressing in three case studies.
