Persistent plantar ulceration associated with midfoot Charcot deformityThis case report describes a patient with Charcot neuroarthropathy, which has developed as a complication of his type 2 diabetes. The case is further complicated by a persistent neuropathic plantar foot ulcer. Charcot deformity significantly increases the chance of ulcers developing. In cases of ulceration, prompt treatment from a specialist multidisciplinary team is vital.
