MSc Advancing Practice Tissue Viability
Plus short courses in Skin Camouflage, Wound Care and Management of Wound Infection.

The University of Hertfordshire offers a wide range of tissue viability awards with a flexible modular approach including distance learning options. Students study on a part time basis and may chose to exit with a short 15 credit module or progress to a BSc (Hons) or MSc award. Modules focus specifically on a broad range of topics related to tissue viability, are firmly related to clinical practice and are led by a team of nationally recognised lecturers. Modules include:

• Fundamentals of wound care
• Wounds: issues and challenges
• Tissue Viability Modalities
• Psychological impact of wounds
• Leg Ulcers: Theory and Practice

All modules are supported by the University's on-line learning environment which can be accessed from any computer, anywhere in the world. The on-line, 24 hour-a-day availability of this enables learning to continue well beyond traditional course times, ensuring that students can make the most of the excellent teaching and study skills support on offer.
