Each award will have a winner and two highly commended decided by an independent judging panel.
The closing date for entries is 31 March 2008.
Entries must fall into one of the following categories:
- Case study
- Literature review
- Research
- Innovations in practice development
The prizes
£1000 to the winner - £250 to each highly commended entry.
All winners/highly commended will receive a free delegate place to Wounds UK, Harrogate 2007
The awards will be held at the annual Wounds UK Summer Ball. The Summer Ball will be an inclusive event. We will encourage as many people as possible to attend, so that the winners will be genuinely feted by their peers. Over and above the sponsors' tables, we will be offering tables to all the UK societies, selling tables to other companies, and also offering tickets on an individual basis. The Summer Ball will be an extravagant affair - special venue, black tie, three-course dinner, dancing.
Projects should be original and innovative and have improved patient care.
