Wound Pain Management Using ActiFormCoolŽ
Wound pain is a distressing area for both patient and healthcare professional alike, chronic pain, particularly with leg ulcers, need not be part and parcel of having an ulcer. ActiFormCoolŽ has been shown to relieve pain in many leg ulcer patients. The speakers from both the scientific community and clinicians explain how the dressing works and how it differs from previous sheet hydrogels, other speakers discuss their experiences of painful wounds and when they have found ActiFormCoolŽ beneficial.
Managing Lymphoedema
Lymphoedema, which affects over 100,000 people in the UK*, has been largely neglected because there have been no specialist products and little education available for community nurses until now.
The seminars will discuss lymphoedema, treatments available and the impact on the patient of accurate diagnosis and effective management.
